ABOUT MITS

Muthoot Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) is promoted by Muthoot M. George Institute of Technology, a Section 25 Company within the Muthoot Group. It is a self-financing Engineering College, situated in the Industrial suburb of Kochi, close to the Smart City and Info Park. Started in 2013 with a clear vision to become a center of excellence in learning, we have made some remarkable achievements and stand first among the self-financing Engineering colleges in Kerala in terms of academic results in APJ Abdul Kalam Kerala Technological University (APJAK KTU).

The institute offers B. Tech courses in the following streams: CE, CSE, CSE (AI), CSE (Cyber Security), AI&DS, ECE, EEE and ME. The CSE, ECE, EEE and ME courses have been reaccredited for three years by NBA (2022-2025). The CE course is also accredited for three years by NBA (2022-2025). In the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), MITS secured a position in the 251-300 band in both 2021 and 2022. In the Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA), MITS is ranked in the ‘Performer’ category.

The postgraduate courses offered by the institute are MTech in Cyber Security, MTech in AI&DS and MCA. The college has state-of-the-art infrastructure, fully equipped labs, excellent library, hostel facilities and computing equipment supported by high-speed Ethernet and wireless networks. The college also has technical collaborations with many industries and Universities.
